I told A, “I always forgot that most people don’t know me very well.” I always think of Mal on Firefly, “You don’t know me son, so I’m going to say this once. If I ever kill you, you’ll be awake. You’ll be facing me. And you’ll be armed.” I always assume that people in my life already know my patience, sarcasm and my compassion. The latter of which is deeply rooted in much of what I do.
